Classes

Meditation

Meditations of various styles: yoga nidra, antar moana, chakra sudhi, hamsa etc. All including pranayama practise. Durations of classes between 30-90 minutes


Yoga

Hatha - A more slow-paced style, deepening into the asanas over a couple of breaths. Good for flexibility, alignment, breathing, balance and strength. Suitable for all levels, great for those who want to work on alignment as there is more adjustment during these classes. Classes last either 60 or 90 minutes.

Vinyasa flow - Using the breath to flow between asanas. Good for cardio, breathing, balance, strength and those looking for a more vigorous practise. Suitable for all levels, including beginners as the more difficult asanas have variations, though complete beginners are advised to start with hatha to learn the correct alignment. Classes last either 60 or 90 minutes


Workshop hatha - Focusing on a particular body part or style of asana, for example inversions, hip openers, arm strengthening, balance etc. Classes are suitable for all levels, though may not be safe with some injuries depending on the class, it is best to check before taking part. Classes last either 60 or 90 minutes.

Health Coaching

Anyone is welcome to arrange a consultation session, it's important that we both feel that we are a good fit for the sessions to be fully beneficial to you.

These sessions are good for people who are:



  • unhappy in a certain area of your life such as relationships or careers
  • want to explore a different diet / lifestyle choice such as veganism, paleo
  • dietary help and guidance

Reiki

A holistic approach to healing that works on the principles of energetics. Reiki is the energy in the universe, and the therapy focuses this energy on different areas of the body with the intention of healing. I know a lot of you will be thinking it's quite out-there, but there is scientific theory and evidence of this kind of therapy. It's been scientifically proven that there are 'healing energies', these are vibrations (7-10Hz) that have shown to promote growth and repair in muscle and bone, and they were the most frequent levels that were recorded in the hands of people practising Reiki.


Swedish Body Massage

Full body massage using oil and long strokes along the flow of blood towards the heart to relax the entire body. Fantastic for reducing stress and relieving muscle tension.
